With lockdown restrictions being eased around the UK, no doubt you’re all keen and eager to get out and about once again, and if you’re going to be in London over the next few weeks you’ll be pleased to hear that there’s quite a lot going on in the city throughout September.
The first ever London Mural Festival is taking place this month, with over 150 artists from all over the world converging on the capital to paint at least 20 new large-scale works of art around the city. Work by artists including Seb Lester, Zabou, Mad C Pref and Dale Grimshaw, among others, will be showcased.
London Fashion Week is also taking place this month, on between the 17th and 22nd, a combination of in-person and digital events this year. You’ll be able to see showcases from the likes of Burberry, Bianca Saunders, Simone Rocha, Temperley London, Victoria Beckham and a whole lot more.
And on the 19th, there’s the Bermondsey Street Festival Market, bringing together creators, artisans, food and drink - the perfect way to spend a day in a covid-secure way.
Or if you’re looking for a laugh (as we all are at the moment), you might want to check out the Greenwich Comedy Festival at the National Maritime Museum between the 23rd and 27th. It’s back for its 12th year so make sure you make time to see the likes of Sara Pascoe, Josh Widdicombe, BIll Bailey, Dara O’Briain and lots more.
