For many business leaders looking for a new luxury model for their private chauffeur to drive them around in, the new year brings with it a range of new cars to choose from to fit all private hire needs.
With companies such as Land Rover, Aston Martin and Alfa Romeo having announced fascinating 2022 models, here are some of the cars to look forward to as 2022 dawns.
In 2022, the impossible is set to become reality as Ferrari, a company that once said in no uncertain terms that they would never make an SUV model, are expected to launch their very first 4x4 to compete with the Lamborghini Urus, Aston Martin DBX and Bentley Bentayga.
Because it is Ferrari, its development has been top secret, but the car is also expected to be a rather different take on the SUV than the Range Rover, with an exceptionally low profile resembling a crossover more than even the lowest profile offroader.
With that said, for a unique, yet practical and comfortable luxury ride, the Purosangue may be a rather unique contender.
Aston Martin DBX Coupe
Interestingly, the Purosangue may have some competition in the new year by the coupe version of the Aston Martin DBX, which also borders the line between a full SUV and a crossover car.
Featuring a stylish body, a long-wheelbase model for exceptional rear legroom and the excellent driving experience of the current DBX, it has some serious potential as a chauffeur vehicle.
BMW 7 Series
The BMW 7 Series has always been a favourite of business leaders across the world due to its practicality and subtle style, with the flagship regularly competing with the might of the Mercedes S Class.
The new model is set to be available in petrol-hybrid, electric and four-wheeled drive, and is believed to have a range of around 300 miles between charges, comparable to the i4.
Inside, the focus has been on keeping a balance between power and comfortable luxury, adding dual infotainment displays to the rear seats.
